「 PERSONALITY 」

Despite being lazy, Jaehyun is normally determined to get his job done. Especially if it's out in the field, otherwise, he'd be slacking off when it comes to paperwork. Jaehyun likes learning about others and listening to their stories and experiences. Depending on how impressed he is of another person, he'll probably try to be their friend. On the other hand, Jaehyun prefers to keep his personal life and issues quiet until he knows he can truly trust another person. He uses his friendly demeanour to get others to open up to him first so he can evaluate whether or not a person is friend-able enough.

He's extremely playful and nothing like a bit of skinship to show his affection. When he deems someone to be close enough to be a friend, he gets a little more sarcastic with his answers and occasionally throw in some dry humour. Sometimes, he'll pull a prank or two on his friends just to revel in his rebellious, troublemaker phase.

「 HISTORY 」

[Age 0 - 13]

Jaehyun was born into a wealthy family. His father was a successful businessman and his mother was a famous actress. Being the middle child, Jaehyun was often neglected by his parents as they favoured his elder brother and younger sister. Jaehyun found himself envying his siblings for the affection of his parents that he didn't receive much of. Throughout his childhood, Jaehyun took piano lessons and taekwondo classes in order to impress his parents, but he was often overshadowed by his elder brother's academic achievements and his sister's musical talent. He tried his best academically but his brother still had the upper-hand for being the elder one and Jaehyun was merely following in his footsteps.

[Age 14 - 17]

Jaehyun went through a rebellious phase through his adolescent years. Often causing trouble, and often finding himself sitting in the police station with his partner in crime, Hyunmin. With their parents scolding them about their life decisions, they never listened... Until the day he regretted his troublemaking lifestyle. It was supposed to be a prank on a completely random stranger. But that stranger was actually a member of the infamous gang, "Triple Joker". There's nothing worse than pulling a juvenile prank on a gang member that's regarded as highly dangerous even by the government. Jaehyun and Hyunmin apologized to the gang member before running away. After the whole Triple Joker fiasco, Jaehyun stopped causing trouble and started attending school more seriously.

But that didn't stop the death threats he received. They threatened the safety of his family and friends, but Jaehyun ignored them. Hoping they weren't serious. Except they were. Jaehyun noticed that Hyunmin stopped replying to his messages, and stopped going to school. It wasn't unusual for Hyunmin to not attend school, but to ignore his messages? After a week, Jaehyun started worrying. He asked Hyunmin's parents and they said that their son hasn't returned home, which wasn't particularly unusual either. Except it's been a full week. That night, Jaehyun received another letter from Triple Joker. This time, it accompanied a picture of a battered and bruised Hyunmin and a note with a ransom written on it. He took the information to the police, but they didn't take it seriously. They thought it was just another one of Jaehyun's pranks.

So Jaehyun took matters into his own hands. He took his trust fund as the ransom and went to the rendezvous point. He knew that the time he had wasn't enough so he hoped that Triple Joker would come to a compromise. Jaehyun proposed a deal. For the safe return of Hyunmin, he would hand over his trust fund, and offer to help Triple Joker out as a full-time member. The leader, whom nicknamed himself, "Ace", was reluctant to make a deal with teenager, but with someone so young, Ace would be able to shape Jaehyun to be a skilled killer. One that would take out their competition. The only condition Ace gave Jaehyun was that he had to cut off all contact with family and friends. This lead to Jaehyun faking his own death in front of Hyunmin to sell the story to his family that he had died that day.

[Age 18 - 27]

Jaehyun has went through vigorous training. Honing his taekwondo skills, and trained with knives and blades. He eventually became a skilled assassin whose only job was to take out Triple Joker's competition. Even though he didn't want this type of life, it was for the safety of his friends and family. When his clock started to tick, Jaehyun knew that he had to follow orders or else he'd be the one dead. But Jaehyun was sick and tired of being Triple Joker's pawn. What Triple Joker didn't know was, that all those years of training and honing his skills will eventually be used against them.

He killed the higher ups, and took all of Triple Joker's time, leaving the low level thugs with nothing to rebuild with. He fled the country with enough time to last about seventy-some years...

[Age 28 - 29]

... But instead of enjoying his life on a beach of a distant country or returning home. Jaehyun found himself joining Zeitlos. He believed that the system was what got him into this terrible mess. That if the authorities had believed him, he wouldn't have had so much blood stained onto his hands.
