「 HISTORY 」
Mathieu was born into a middle class family of French descent along with an elder twin sister. Despite being twins, Mathieu and Catherine are polar opposites. Catherine, the stoic, calm, elder sister, who cares deeply for her younger brother, and despite being only a few minutes older, Mathieu considered her overprotective. Catherine would dismiss otherwise, calling Mathieu reckless, and that's what he was. Mathieu was the child who got into a little too much trouble in elementary school. Matt and Cat, they would call them. Often they'd be compared to each other, despite their different personalities. Mathieu strived to be different from his sister, he wanted to be called just be called Matt, not "Matt and Cat".

As an adolescent, Mathieu was ambitious. He wanted to find something that he could call his own, rather constantly being compared to his sister. Eventually, he found his love for music, despite having a late start. He decided to continue his studies in music whilst working as a bartender at a bar.
